Online Application forms are invited from permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State for the following Posts on contractual basis for a period of one year.
Name of the posts and Vacancies
I. Training and Placement Officer 01
Qualification : Essential i) Master’s degree with a 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average from a recognized University /Institute. ii) 03 years experience in placement of students in the Universities/Institution of Higher Education and liaison with Industries within and outside country.
Desirable i) Communication skills both oral and written. ii) Ability to provide guidance & counseling.
Salary : Rs. 21,000/- (consolidated) per month.
II. Jr. Engineer (Civil) 01
Qualification : Essential : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average from a recognized University /Institute. ii) 02 years experience in related field of engineering in University/ Government/ Semi Government organization. OR i) Three Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University /Institute ii) Five years experience in the related field of engineering in University/ Government/ Semi Government organization.
Desirable i) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Salary : Rs. 17,000/- (consolidated) per month
III. Jr. Engineer (Electrical) 01
Essential: i) Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average from a recognized University /Institute. ii) 02 years experience in related field of engineering in University/ Government/ Semi Government organization. OR i) Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute. ii) Five years experience in the related field of engineering in University/ Government/ Semi Government organization.
Desirable i) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Salary : Rs. 17,000/- (consolidated) per month
IV. Works Supervisor 01
Essential i) Three year Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University /institute. ii) 02 year experience in the respective field in University/ Government/ Semi Government organization.
Desirable i) Communication skill both oral and written.
Salary : Rs. 8,000/- (consolidated) per month

AGE
Age as on 01-01-2017
i) Not below 18 years; and
ii) Not above:-
(a) 40 years in case of Open Merit.
(b) 43 years in case of SC / ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates.
(c) 42 years in case of Physically Challenged candidates.
(d) 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen.
(e) 40 years in case of candidates in Government Service/Contractual employees;
How to apply
1. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.islamicuniversity.edu.in. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
2. Hard copy of application form complete in all respects duly supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials should reach office of the Registrar by or before 31 th March, 2017. Application forms received after the expiry of the said date will not be entertained.
