JKPSC Invites online Application Form for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination
Online applications are invited from the candidates who have been declared to have qualified for the admission to the J&K Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2016 vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2017/22 dated 23-04-2017 in accordance with SRO 387 dated 01.12.2008, read with SRO 190 of 2016 dated 17.06.2016 and J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005 as amended from time to time to fill up the posts in the below mentioned Services:-
Name of the posts
A. Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service;
B. J&K Police (Gazetted) Service, and
C. J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service.
2. Details of vacancies to be filled up are as under:-
Total Number of Vacancies = 277
a. Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service = 269
b. J&K Police (Gazetted) Service = 02
c. J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service = 06
Scheme of Examination:
The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2016 shall consist of two successive stages – written test and interview. Only those candidates who have been declared by the Commission to have qualified the Preliminary Examination vide PSC Notification No. PSC/Exam/2017/22 dated 23-04- 2017 are eligible for admission to the Main Examination
The Examination shall commence from 17th July, 2017 as already notified vide PSC Notification No. PSC/Exam/2017/22 dated 23-04-2017. A detailed Date Sheet shall be notified separately.
Eligibility Conditions:
The conditions of eligibility and age limit etc. of a candidate shall be determined with reference to the Notification SRO- 387 dated 01.12.2008 read with SRO 190 of 2016 dated 17.06.2016 and shall further be subject to the fulfillment of the following parameters:-
a) he/she should have qualified the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2016.
b) he/she must be a permanent resident of J&K State; and
c) he/she must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized University.
d) Age Limit:
(i) A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but must not have crossed the age of 35 years (in case of OM candidates) on 1st January 2016 i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.01.1981 and not later than 01.01.1995

a) Date of commencement of online applications = 13.05.2017
b) Last Date for receipt/submission of online applications = 10 .06.2017
c) Last Date for submission of fee/ Bank Challan = 18.06.2017
