Traffic Update 1730 hours
Tomorrow on 27.12.2015, traffic on Jammu -Srinagar National Highway will ply both ways with the following restrictions in view of slippery condition of road:-
From Jammu (Nagrota) Srinagar bound passenger vehicles will be allowed to move only between 06 AM to 01 PM while heavy vehicles will be permitted only between 6.30 AM to 11. 30 AM. No Srinagar bound passenger vehicle will be permitted to cross Udhampur (Jekhani Chowk) after 2.30 PM while no heavy vehicle will be permitted after 1.30 PM.
From Qazigund light motor vehicles shall be permitted to move towards Jammu only between 8. 30 AM to 3 PM while heavy vehicles shall be permitted only between 9 AM to 2 PM.
Due to slippery condition of the road, movement of traffic on Mughal road has been restricted from 1700 hours. However, subject to fair weather and good condition of the road movement of traffic on the said road shall be allowed from Chandimarh as well as from Shopian side only between 1200 hours and 1600 hours tomorrow.
Srinagar – Kargil road closed for all sort of traffic.
Bandipore-Gurez road closed for all sort of traffic.
Synthan-Kishtwar road closed for traffic.
