Traffic Plan for 05.04.2016
Keeping in view the condition of road stretch between Batote and Banihal, particularly at Mandir point Patnitop, Kiker More Batote, Nashri, Dilwas, Peera and Wagan Ramso where width of the road formation has shrunk due to sliding, only one way movement of traffic is possible on NHW-1A. As such tomorrow on 05.04.016 the movement of traffic shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu side only. Movement of all types of Jammu bound passenger vehicles shall be permitted from Qazigund from 5 AM to 3 PM whereas movement of load carriers shall be permitted from 6 AM to 1 PM.
However, in order to facilitate the passengers the movement of passenger vehicles bound for Srinagar, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Banihal shall be allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) from 4 AM to 9 AM only. Strict implementation of the cut off time as above shall be ensured.
Mughal road is closed for all sort of traffic till further orders.
Srinagar – Kargil road is closed for all sort of traffic.
Bandipore-Gurez road is closed for all sort of traffic.
Synthan-Kishtwar road is also closed for traffic.
