Panchayat Accounts Assistant shall be a Separate Cadre for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj with one Panchayat Accwnts Assistant catering to 2 to 3 Panchayats, each depending upon the population, geographical distances etc.
The recruitment of the Panchayat Accounts Assistants shall be carried out under SRO 202 dated 30.06.2015.
These posts shall be District Cadre post, with the District wise break-up/ Division of posts enclosed as Annexure-A to this Government Order.

Consolidated salary for the candidates selected with NET/SET/Ph.D. qualification shall be Rs. 28000/- P.M. and that of the candidates having Master Degree with 55% Marks shall be Rs. 22000/- P.M.
The period of engagement shall be up to the end of Academic Session 2019-20 or one year or the vacancy against which the appointment is made is filled up on regular basis whichever happens to be earlier.
The number of posts to be filled up in each subject shall be decided as per requirement of the University.
